DESCRIPTION:Join us for a creative and giving day filled with artistic expressions\, and the warm spirit of fall. Get into the spirit of giving with us this Thanksgiving season. We look forward to a fun social event and also giving back to our community by creating breakfast bags for Meals on Wheels. This event is open to the whole community. Join us for a wonderful day of crafts\, treats\, and giving back to our community.At this event\, we look forward to not only having a fantastic time but also giving back to our community by creating breakfast bags for Meals on Wheels. It’s an opportunity for everyone in the community to participate in a day filled with crafts\, treats\, and the joy of giving.Project Beacon’s Social Enrichment Events are designed for adults and older adolescents (16 and up) with autism and other neurodiversities. These events aim to create a fun social event that encourages participation and increases socialization skills.All participants must have a caregiver or family member attend with them regardless of ability level. We also invite you to bring the whole family and enjoy the event together.The event is offered to participants at no charge\, but you can help us offset the costs by making a suggested donation of $5 per participant.  						\n				\n					\n		\n					\n		\n				\n						\n					\n			\n						\n				\n							Volunteers​For our social enrichment event\, we offer various volunteer stations and opportunities.​ Registration volunteers can assist attendees upon arrival\, providing necessary information and checking them in. Food preparation and service volunteers will help with tasks such as serving meals\, and ensuring food hygiene standards are met. Event setup and breakdown teams are essential for organizing and dismantling the event. Game stations and art stations require enthusiastic volunteers to facilitate engaging activities and craft projects\, providing a fun and interactive environment for participants. Lastly\, for this event we will have stations for our assembly of Meals on Wheels bags.  If you would like to volunteer please use our volunteer sign up sheet to make sure you get all up to date information.
