What is Autism?

Autism, also known as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), is a complex neurodevelopmental condition.

It is called a “spectrum” disorder because it manifests differently in each individual, ranging from mild to profound challenges including, but not limited to:

Autism is a lifelong condition, but early intervention and support can significantly improve an individual’s quality of life and ability to thrive in society.

Project Beacon is a dedicated 501(c)(3) organization offering essential programs and support tailored to adults with neurodiversities. While our program is designed for the success of the neurodiverse individual, others will also benefit from the structure and individualization provided in our programs.

With a focus on empowering individuals and fostering inclusivity, Project Beacon provides a range of services aimed at vocational and social skills training and enhancing independence, social integration, and overall well-being.
