The Need
Adults with autism and/or other intellectual/developmental disabilities (A/I/DD) face a critical shortage of housing options and access to the support they need to thrive. To drive future planning, funding, and advancements in public policy, Project Beacon, in partnership with Tri-County Behavioral Healthcare, is completing a comprehensive housing market analysis of needs and preferences in the Montgomery County area, and we need your help!

Project Beacon will host a virtual gathering for stakeholders with A/I/DD and their family members/guardians to learn more about the emerging landscape of innovative residential solutions, long-term service delivery models, and supportive community amenities. Learning about all the options will help you to choose the one that best suits you. Â
After attending an Options Presentation, you will be asked to complete either the plain language survey or the expanded version survey, depending on your preference.Â
This effort will also enlist input from local leaders with a vested interest in meeting the unique needs of the A/I/DD populations.
