Project Beacon provides hands-on vocational training for autistic and neurodiverse adults through real job-site experiences. Participants build workplace, social, and independent living skills with individualized support while exploring meaningful employment and community connections.

sustainable solutions for the lifelong educational,
vocational, social, and residential needs of the
neurodiverse community.
How it Works
- Clients attend real job sites with support staff to explore interests and strengths.
- Staff help establish systems that promote independence (e.g., task lists, point-ofcontact info).
- Over time, staff support may be gradually reduced, if appropriate.
- Clients may attend in small groups—great for businesses with multiple tasks available!
- Individualized goals are created for every participant.
- Job site visits may rotate quarterly or last longer based on the client’s progress and interest.

confidence, and support they need to achieve
meaningful employment or volunteer experiences.
This program is about more than just getting a job

and community connection. For many young
adults, simply exploring different job roles is the
first step—and that's our goal.
