Matt Sanderson along with his wife Melissa and son Owen moved to The Woodlands in 2016 to join TETRA Technologies where he currently serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer. Before joining TETRA, Matt spent almost 20 years working at Schlumberger in various operational and functional leadership roles in Canada, the USA, Australia, Thailand, and India. Matt possesses a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering (Environmental Option) from Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada, and a Master of Science in Oil and Gas Industry Management from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland.
While living in Australia, Matt and Melissa welcomed their son Owen into the world. Owen is a special young man who is on the autism spectrum. Matt volunteered to join the Project Beacon board to deliver on our stated goals of delivering much-needed support to the neurodiverse community of Montgomery County.
