Birdies for Beacon is the annual golf tournament benefiting Project Beacon. Project Beacon exists to build a community of belongings where adults with autism and other Neurodiversities can play, learn, work, and live. We are committed to delivering quality, sustainable solutions for the educational, vocational, social, and residential challenges facing the neurodiverse community. Together we can help those on the autism spectrum and with special needs have lives of self-agency and purpose. This Adaptive Golf Experience gives older adolescents and adults with autism and other Neurodiversities a chance to experience the game of golf through modified rules or equipment based on the person’s abilities. A variety of experiences and skills will be tested along the course in a fun and inclusive way.
