Beacon Leisure Quest
Leisure Quest is a specialized program within Beacon SMILES designed for neurodivergent to explore and develop new hobbies and special interests in a supportive, inclusive environment. Through hands-on learning experiences with experienced instructors and low student-to-teacher ratios, participants build confidence, discover new passions, enhance social interactions, and develop meaningful leisure skills that contribute to overall well-being and community engagement.
Five Skill Categories Covered:
- Hobbies: Skill-building activities and personal interests
- Life Balance: Wellness, mindfulness, and healthy lifestyle practices
- Social Connection: Team-building and community engagement activities
- Creativity: Arts, crafts, music, and expressive activities
- Recreation: Sports, games, and active pursuits
